Unit 1

Definition of IoT

IoT (Internet of Things) ek aisa network hai jisme physical devices (things) internet ke through connected hote hain aur data collect, share aur process karte hain.

  • Devices me sensors, software aur network connectivity hoti hai
  • Bina human intervention ke intelligent actions le sakte hain

Examples:

  • Smart Home: Alexa, Google Home → Lights, AC, TV control
  • Wearables: Smart Watch → Heart rate & steps tracking
Unit 2

Key Components of IoT

  • Sensors: Environment se data collect karte hain
  • Actuators: Sensor data ke basis par action lete hain
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, LoRaWAN, 5G
  • Data Processing / Cloud: Server par data process hota hai
  • User Interface: Mobile app ya dashboard se control

Example: Smart fridge milk kam hone par cloud notification bhejta hai
